Purifas® FaceShield™ Market Research

Purifas® understands professional therapists and businesses highly regard the opinion of their patients and clients. In June 2018, we conducted market research to find out what is important to them and what they thought of the Purifas® FaceShieldTM and Purifas FacePad®. This was completed using three different clinics with three different demographics. The participants had a 30-minute face down therapy session which would be broken up into two 15 minute intervals – one using the current round cut paper product and the second using the FaceShield™. They then completed a survey at the end of the session. In total, there were 90 participants.

The results are as follows:

  • Hygiene is important to customers - 65% of clients are willing to pay 50 cents or more for a product that will help reduce the spread of germs.
  • Over half of the patients who have been with their practitioner for more than 2 years are willing to change their practitioner for someone who uses a more hygienic product.
  • Customers reported a better experience when using the FaceShield™
  • Almost 90% of customers preferred the use of the FaceShield™ over any other product.
  • 94% of customers who used the FaceShield™ were satisfied with it.
  • Over 70% of participants referenced comfort and improved feel compared to paper sheets
  • Over 70% of customers found the treatment with the FacePad™ more comfortable.
